Odetta Morton

CEO

Odetta started her career with Kroll Lindquist Avey and Deloitte before joining Deltec as its Chief Accounting Officer in 2003. She steadily rose to become Deltec’s CFO by 2012 and CEO by 2019.

Also a Director for The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Co-Chairman of the Ease of Doing Business Committee, Odetta has led Deltec’s transformation into a leader in global wealth management.

Michael Schmidt

Chief Commercial Officer

Michael is a long-time veteran of the global wealth management industry and an entrepreneur at heart, having started his career with Credit Suisse’s apprenticeship programme in Valais, before later leading various teams across several financial centres with BNP Paribas, UBS and Julius Baer.

Michael now calls The Bahamas home, bringing his unique skillset of serving globally minded clients and entrepreneurs.

Stasha Ninkovic

Managing Director of Operations

Stasha is another veteran in the financial services industry, with over 20 years of experience in banking, asset management and hedge funds. She has held senior roles at three global financial institutions over her career.

Stasha leads the heart of Deltec Bank – its people, operations, and processes, and is excited to introduce 24/7/365 banking operations by combining our global team with always-on automation.

Candice Murton

Managing Director of Finance

Candice joined our team in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer of Deltec Fund Services Limited and made an immediate impact with her expertise in incorporating technology and automation techniques. With an MBA in Chartered Banking and over 13 years of leadership experience, Candice brings a wealth of knowledge to Deltec Bank in the areas of auditing, accounting, reporting standards, and internal controls. She champions open lines of communications and stakeholder relationships built upon trust.

Tanmay Saxena

Managing Director of Data & Technology

Tanmay initially trained as an electrical engineer, and after completing his MBA and has 20 years in Swiss private banking. He has led teams as the Head of Digital Platforms for global banks, like Credit Suisse.

At Deltec, Tanmay continues to lead the way by using interactive technology to provide seamless client experiences. He believes that clients should receive the information vital to them as simply and elegantly as possible.

Emmanuel Komolafe

Managing Director of Risk, Compliance, and Legal

Former Director of The Bahamas Financial Services Board, Emmanuel is our Governance, Risk, and Compliance expert with nearly two decades of experience. As a current member of The Bahamas’ Digital Advisory Panel, he is a key voice for advancing the sustainable use of all asset classes.

He holds an LLM – Master of Laws specialising in banking law, securities regulation, and international trade law from the University of Buckingham, UK. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (with Distinction), a Fellow of the International Compliance Association, and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute in England.
