Deltec encourages high school students to apply for Scholarship

The educational arm of the Deltec Initiatives Foundation, “The Deltec Initiative for Scholarship and Education” visited Grand Bahama to encourage high school students to apply for the Deltec Foundation Scholarship Award.

The Foundation offers a four-year scholarship, valued at $40,000 to a Bahamian Family Island student to attend The University of The Bahamas.

The purpose of the scholarship is to increase postsecondary education opportunities to Family Island students who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.
Members of the Foundation including Marcia Adderley, Robert Turnquest, CFA, CAIA and Milton Hanna Jr., visited three schools while on the island including: Eight Mile Rock High School; St. Georges High School and Jack Hayward High School.

During the visit to all three schools, the Deltec Team engaged in a Q&A session.
